Suspect in Custody Following Deputy-Involved Shooting in Bellflower
The shooting at Ramona Street and Bellflower Boulevard took place about 4:25 p.m. Tuesday.
An investigation is under way this afternoon into a deputy-involved shooting in Bellflower that resulted in the arrest of a suspect.
The shooting at Ramona Street and Bellflower Boulevard occurred about 4:25 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lakewood Station, which serves the cities of Bellflower, Artesia, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood and Paramount.
Though details of what led up to the shooting were not immediately released, the sheriff's station reported that no one was wounded by the gunfire and a suspect is in custody.
