Three Arrested on Connection with Death of Cerritos Man

A Long Beach man and a man and woman from Carson are in custody. The victim was found in a Torrance parking structure near Pacific Coast Highway.

Two men and a woman are scheduled to be arraigned next month for the killing of a 42-year-old Cerritos man.

Michael Frank Trujillo, 31, of Long Beach, Ernie Lee Ramos Jr., 33, of Carson, and Angelina Marie Garcia, 33, of Carson, are each charged with one count of murder in connection with the death of Jose Frank Johnson, whose body was found Nov. 3 in a parking structure near Pacific Coast Highway and Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance.

Police said investigators believe Johnson was killed in Carson and then moved to Torrance.

The trio was scheduled to be arraigned today, but the hearing was postponed until Dec. 11.

Police did not provide details on the circumstances of the killing. A coroner's investigator said the cause of death was pending.
