Assemblymember Garcia to Host Community Walk Saturday

This will be a chance to ask questions and discuss local issues.

Assemblymember Cristina Garcia will host a community walk Saturday, Sept. 7, at 8 a.m. in Montebello City Park, 1300 W. Wittier Blvd.

The free event is open to everyone in everyone who lives within the borders of the 58th Assembly District, which she was elected to represent in November 2012. 

The community walk will give residents a chance to ask questions and discuss local issues with Assemblymember Garcia.

Saturday morning Assemblymember Garcia’s office staff will also collect donations of new socks and underwear and travel-sized toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo—which will be given to the homeless and those in need.

The community walk is part of a monthly series happening in cities throughout the 58th Assembly District.
