The Friends of Artesia are hosting Cupid's Ball on Friday, Feb. 8 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Albert O. Little Community Center located at 18750 Clarkdale Ave. The goal of this event is to raise the the funds needed to bring back the city's treasured fireworks show.

Live music from the 562 Band, and a buffet are offered to all guests. Adults 21 and over are invited and all tickets also come with a free drink. Tickets are $50 per couple, or $30 for singles.

Locals are encouraged to take part in this event, bring a partner or go solo, and get ready for a night that you'll never forget!

When it comes to the FREE newspaper (or anything else that's free) -- the old saying applies: YouRead More get what you pay for.
