Cerritos and Artesia Voters, Find Your Polling Location
Election Day is just around the corner. Know where to go to vote and how to get a sample ballot.
As Tuesday’s election nears, it’s time for voters to prepare.
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk has a helpful website for voters to find their local polling place. Visitors also can select a party preference to get a sample ballot.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 5.

In addition to the presidential primary, voters will weigh in on a U.S. Senate candidate and two statewide ballot measures. If passed, Proposition 29 would add a $1 tax to cigarette to fund cancer research. Prop. 28 would put a 12-year term limit on lawmakers in the state Legislature. A politician currently can serve in office for 14 years.

- Republican Benjamin Campos, a certified public accountant from Lakewood
- Jorge Alberto Robles, a Republican from Montebello and law enforcement officer
- Incumbent Rep. Linda Sanchez, D-Cerritos, who moved from the 39th District
- 58th Assembly District:
- Sultan (Sam) Ahmad, a business owner and financial consultant from Cerritos
- Tom Calderon, D-Montebello, former Assemblyman and businessman
- Dan Crespo, Bell Gardens Councilman
- Cristina Garcia, Educator/Math Teacher from Bell Gardens
- Patricia A. Kotze-Ramos, Downey business owner
- Luis Marquez, Downey Councilman and businessman
- Member, Board of Directors; Central Basin Municipal Water District; Division 5
- Incumbent Phil Hawkins of Cerritos
- Jay Gray, account clerk from Cerritos
- Assemblyman Tony Mendoza, D-Artesia
