and ride to Artesia Park for the event!
• Bicycle Safety Course
Children will be challenged to show off their knowledge of traffic safety in a special bicycle safety course that will be based on Artesia neighborhoods
and streets.
• Win Prizes!
Kids can win bicycles, bicycle helmets, car seats, safety gear, and
much, much more. All children receive a goody bag.

The program teaches youth about bicycle safety and the importance of safety gear.  Secondly, public safety organizations like the Sheriffs, L.A. County Fire, CARE Ambulance, Animal Control, and others team up with Artesia, showcasing drug and bomb-sniffing canines, robots that can defuse bombs, state-of-the-art law enforcement equipment, historical fire equipment, and Sky Knight, the Sheriff's helicopter which can sometimes be seen patroling our skies.
