Final Cerritos Candidates Forum to Be Held Tonight

The seven Cerritos City Council candidates have been invited to the two-hour forum, which will be aired on Cerritos TV3.

Get your last look at the Cerritos City Council candidates tonight when the Woman's Club of Artesia-Cerritos presents the final Candidates Forums before the March 5 Cerritos Municipal Election.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cerritos City Hall council chambers located at 18125 Bloomfield Ave. A live broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. 

The candidates will be answering written questions from the audience, according to forum organizers.

Invited candidates include Carol Chen, Alejandro Estella, James Kang, K.Y. Ma, George Ray, Gerad Valencia, and Frank Aurelio Yokoyama. The seven candidates are vying for two open seats on the city council.

In addition, there will be rebroadcasts of the forum at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, and Wednesday, Feb. 27.  The forum also will be available on the video archive of the Cerritos website.
