Goodwill Seeks City Approval for Store in Cerritos

The proposed store and drop-off center would be located in the old Thrifty/Rite-Aid building.

The Cerritos Planning Commission will be meeting Wednesday to discuss whether Goodwill Industries can establish a retail store and drop-off center in the former Thrifty's/Rite-Aid building at 17518 Carmenita Road in Cerritos. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The commission sent out notices recently regarding the conditional use permit for Goodwill Industries, but only to residents in the vicinity of the proposed store. The neighborhood is zoned for commercial use.
