Voters FAQs: What You Need to Know About Today's ABC School Board Election

Here's all the important information you need to know about the Tuesday, Nov. 8 ABC School Board Election.

The election for the ABC School Board will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.

Voters will be able to select:

  1. one candidate for an unexpired 2-year term (filling Cerritos City Councilman Mark Pulido's seat vacated earlier this year)
  2. up to four candidates for a 4-year term

2-Year Term Candidates:
* Voters will be able to pick ONE candidate from this category. (Click on the candidate's name to be directed to their Patch Q&A profile page)

When and where can I vote?
Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011. Please visit the LAVOTE Locator to determine your nearest polling place. 

Where can I view the results?
Please check the Election Results page after 8 p.m. for the results.
 
When will the newly elected boardmembers start their terms?
All newly elected boardmembers will be sworn in at the Tuesday, Dec. 6 regularly scheduled ABC School Board meeting.
