So, are these results from the County website or is it exclusive to Patch
MarieSam Sanchez (Editor) March 6, 2013 at 02:25 am
Hi Ernie! The results are coming in from the Cerritos City Clerk, our figures are updated as the numbers are released.

I am amazed to see that Chen succeeded in this election considering all the negative issues surrounding travel and expenses, etc. for both herself as well as Messrs. Edwards and Barrows. I am also frankly surprised that Mr. Galucci doesn't have policy and guidelines concerning anyone qualified to submit an expense report. No One should presume a "blank check" when traveling for any entity - if the cash for a holiday were coming out of there pocket would it honestly be at the same level of remuneration these folks expect from the city or that the presumption that they are councilmembers gives them these rights. Time to shake the dirty linen out and clean house - spring is upon us.
