SmartVoter.org Ballot Lookup Helps Cerritos Voters Prepare

Cerritos voters who wish to study the list of candidates that they'll see on their March 5 ballots can use this tool from SmartVoter.org.

If you've yet to hit your polling station today but still wondering what will be on your ballot, just type in your address into the tool above and a list of candidates and issues you'll see on your ballot will appear, courtesy of SmartVoter.org.

SmartVoter.org is a project of the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund. The site provides nonpartisan information about candidates, their stands on issues, endorsements and other data that can help you make an informed decision.

The Los Angels County Clerk has also created a polling place and sample ballot lookup tool. Go to the county's voter website and enter your address to see where you should be voting and a sample ballot.

Your polling place may have changed. If so, you should have received a postcard from the City Clerk. If not, check the county's voter website or:

• Call the Office of the City Clerk - Election Division at 213-978-0444 or toll-free at 888-873-1000.

• Call the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk at 562-466-1310.

When it comes to the FREE newspaper (or anything else that's free) -- the old saying applies: YouRead More get what you pay for.

To call this "rag" a newspaper is a joke. They only put partial truths, always sided to aRead More covert friend of the writer and never have done the background investigation to be able to establish validity!
