Walk & Talk with Asm. Cristina Garcia on Saturday

Assemblymember Cristina Garcia invites those in the 58th District to chat with her on May 4.

Asking the community to take a healthy break, Assemblymember Cristina Garcia invites everyone in Cerritos and Artesia to join her for a community walk on Saturday, May 4 at 8 a.m. at Treasure Island Park in Downey.

During the walk at the park, located at 9300 Bluff Road, all participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues of importance with their state representative.

Assemblymember Garcia’s office will also be taking donations that morning, of new socks and underwear and travel sized toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.) that will be distributed to the homeless and those in need.

The community walk, which begins at 8 a.m. sharp, is part of a monthly series of walks to be held in cities throughout the 58th Assembly District.
