A Preview of the June 21 ABCUSD Meeting
The ABC School Board will be meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. for its second meeting in June.
Tonight the ABC School Board will meet for its last meeting of June.There will be a public hearing on The California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 24 initial proposal on negotiations for Compensation, Health and Welfare Benefits, Hours and Overtime and Vacations and Holidays.
The district will also be having a hearing on its response to the proposal.
Other items include:
- Submission of an application to the California Department of Education to continue funding for the 2011-12 Consolidated Programs.
- Submission of an application for the Special Education Workability I Grant for the 2011-2012 school year.
- Tentative Agreement between the ABC Board of Education and the ABC Federation of Teachers, Local #2317, CaliforniaFederation of Teachers, American Federation of Teachers/AFL-CIO amendingArticle VII: School Calendar for the 2011-12 school year
The meeting will be held at the at 16700 Norwalk Blvd. in Cerritos.
