A Preview of the September 6 ABC School Board Meeting
The ABC School Board will hold its first regularly scheduled meeting of the month tonight at 7 p.m.
The ABC School Board will be meeting for its first meeting of the month tonight. The first action item will be Superintendent (as of July 1, 2012) 's contract and compensation with an annual salary of $216,282 plus benefits.
Other items to be discussed include:
- Hiring an outside demographic/consulting firm to provide an assessment of the district’s at-large election system to ensure compliance with the California Voting Rights Act.
- Approve the Tentative Agreement between the Board of Education and California School Employees Association and Chapter #24, amending Article XIII: Calendar and Article for the 2011-12 school year.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the at 16700 Norwalk Blvd. in Cerritos.
