Cerritos High School Regiment of Gold Marching Band competed in the Western Band Association State Finals on Saturday Nov. 23.
The WBA is considered one of the most competitive marching band circuits in the United States. Cerritos High School won the AA Division, sweeping all caption awards - High General Effect, High Visual, High Music, High Auxiliary, High Percussion- with a final score of 88.80.
The CHS Regiment of Gold band moved on to compete on Nov. 24 in a combined A, AA, and AAA Championship. The WBA State finals are being held in Fresno.
