The “Bon Voyage Concert” on July 11 will help the wind symphony raise additional funds before leaving for Paris and London later his month.

The Cerritos High School Wind Symphony will be making its final fund-raising performance Wednesday, July 11, in the Sierra Room at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center before traveling to Paris and London later this month.

The “Bon Voyage Concert” will be the curtain call by the wind symphony before performing at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

The group of 55 talented  symphony members is led by Music Director Tim Trost.

The students and their supporters have been working hard since last year to raise $300,000 for the trip. These funds will go toward the cost of travel and stay for the students and the accompanying adult chaperones during the European trip.

Tickets are $20 and are available at the Cerritos High School office or at the door on the night of the concert, which begins at 7:00 p.m.

For more information, contact Tim Trost at (562) 926-5566, ext. 21966.
