According to Assistant Superintendent Toan Nguyen, the county department spent July and part of August closing the books on the current financial report, ensuring all revenues are accounted for in the right programs. The report then needs to go to an outside auditor.
"We want to make sure that we close the books with the rules and regulations so that the outside auditors, when they audit our records, everything's clean," Nguyen said. "That's our goal."
Report Figures:
General Fund Revenues: $163,975,083
General Fund Expenditures: $168,360,126
