Cerritos and Artesia students earn academic recognition across the country at their respective universities.

Hyo Jin Lee of Cerritos has been placed on the Dean's List of the College of Arts and Sciences for Excellence in Scholarship for the Fall 2011 semester.

Jeffrey Zhu of Cerritos, son of Yuchen Zhu and Jianhui Li, was named to the Oxford College Honor List for earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 of higher during the Fall 2011 semester.

Andrew Dang of Cerritos has been named to the Fall 2011 Dean's List at the University of the Sciences. He is a doctor of pharmacy student, passing all assigned courses with no grade below a "C" and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the Fall semester.
Several local residents were recently added to the academic Dean's List at Azusa Pacific University. These students earned a 3.5 or better grade-point average in the Fall 2011 semester.
