Poets Face Off at Cerritos College
If you love poetry, you might enjoy seventh semi-annual Poetry Night Event.
Are you an aficionado of poetry? If you are, the Cerritos College has an event for you. Several students are competing in the seventh semi-annual Poetry Night Event from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday in room LC-155.
The event is free and open to the public.
Students will compete against one another before an audience. If you are enrolled and would like to take part, here are the guidelines:

- Submit your poem with your name to cclibraryclub@hotmail.com by Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00pm.
- Poem needs to be recited in less than 7 minutes.
- Poems in other languages are welcome. English version must be submitted.
- Prizes will be awarded to the three best poems of the night (although everyone is a winner).
- Arrive at 4:45pm on Thursday, November 21, 2013.
- Remember to recite your poem passionately!
