As our world is becoming more interconnected, learning a second language is a great advantage. If you want to conduct business better overseas or just learn more about the Chinese food and culture closer to home, adult conversation classes at Cerritos Chinese School (CCS) can help. Along with the academic curriculum, CCS hosts annual carnivals, festivals, and talent shows. For example, students of all nationalities from CCS performed at the earlier this year.

Established in 1972, CCS has a mission of Chinese language education and cultural promotion in the community. CCS offers language classes for kids from pre-K to 12th grade (including SAT II and AP preparation), extra-curricular activities, and adult conversation classes. Many studies show that learning a foreign language improves performance in Math and English, and children tend to show more creativity and greater cognitive development. The CCS students, staff, and parents also participate in a variety of academic and athletic competitions throughout Southern California.
