Camille Cooley has been named the Distinguished Young Woman of Cerritos-Artesia by the Distinguished Young Woman of Cerritos-Artesia Scholarship Program.
The program was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cerritos-Artesia and the city of Cerritos. A total of $7,000 in scholarships was presented to the winners and each participant received a $400 Kaplan certificate.
Cooley will go on to represent the Cerritos-Artesia area at the State level in July. She also won in the self-expression category.
Eriel Uy was named the Alternate Distinguished Young Woman of Cerritos-Artesia and also won in the fitness and talent categories.
Additional winners included Jina Yoon, who won in the scholastics category, Cindy Li, winner of the interview category, and spirit of Distinguished Young Woman winner Melanie Park.
