Zumba Fitness Classes at Los Cerritos Center Gets Kids & Adults Moving

Do your kids tend to sit around and watch too much television on the weekends? Well get them on their feet with a session of Zumbatonics!

Kids from Cerritos and Artesia, as well as the surrounding communities, are invited to take part in a fun-filled session of fitness every Saturday afternoon in the  wing at . 

The recently launched program titled "Zumbatomic for Kids" is offered every Saturday from 2pm to 2:45pm for children ages 4 to 12. The class, which is taught by DanceFit Direct instructor Rachel Gunther, is just $5 per class. (Cash payments only please.)

Classes will be held every Saturday until Sept. 1 and no RSVP is needed, parents can simply bring their children ready to dance. (All classes are for children ONLY. Parents are asked to stay close by as they will be invited to view what the children have learned at the end of each 45-minute class.)

What is Zumbatomic?

Zumbatomic is a fun and healthy program designed just for kids (ages 4-12) using the Zumba concept. It is NOT a Zumba kids class. Zumbatomic is a separate and unique program that was designed with specific methods, music, and programming specifically for children.

Children will learn fitness dances, play fun motivational games, and learn new rhythms and styles of music and culture. All classes are taught to not only cultivate individuality and creativity, but to develop leadership, respect, team work, pride, confidence, and responsibility.

Zumba Classes for Adults at Los Cerritos Center

Adults can join in on the Zumba movement too with Zumba Fitness classes at Los Cerritos Center on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 10am in the Nordstrom Wing. The program will run until Sept. 16.
