Community Invited to a "Garden Party" to Help Support the Artesia Library

For $15, participants can enjoy an evening of food, wine tasting and entertainment. The event will be held on Friday, May 4.

The public is invited to a night of wine tasting, delicious food and entertainment this Friday to help support the . 

The  at Andy's Garden located at 11504 178th Street in Artesia will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m on May 4.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of cuisines from Artesia and Cerritos restaurants, wine tasting, entertainment, a silent auction, raffles, a dessert bake sale, and much more.

"In this time of budget cuts, the Friends raise money to help the library provide materials and services to its patrons," according to a statement from the Friends of the Artesia Library.

Tickets, which are priced at $15 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under, are available for purchase at the Artesia Library. For more information on the event contact Michele Diaz at (562) 402-9893 or Joanne Witt at (562) 860-2036.

The Artesia Library is a part of the County of Los Angeles Public Library system. Friends of the Library support the facility by:

  • holding fundraising events 
  • sponsoring and staffing library events
  • helping recruit volunteers

Membership to Friends of the Library is open to anyone interested in helping to enhance library services in their community.
