It has been almost 3 months since the passing of my beautiful childhood friend FrankieRead More Walden-Weaver. I am still shaken by the reality of her being gone. We went through many special moments in life from first boyfriends, first cars, high school experiences, marriage, and the births of our children and grandchildren. Although we were separated by distance at times through the years, we never lost contact with eachother. That was one of her special qualities. She never met anyone she didn't like and who didn't like her. To know her was to love her. I fully realize that my life was blessed and enriched to be able to call her friend. To her beautiful family my prayers and thoughts for you today and always. RIP my friend Rochelle Jackson

I just saw this article, what a nice and special lady. I am shocked by the news. I am a retiredRead More school bus driver for this school for many years. She was always one of the people who the special needs children loved and was so good knowing what they all needed. She will be missed.

I met Dick Clark in 1961 as a member of the audience at American Bandstand in Philadelphia. I livedRead More in Lakewood at the time and presented him with a key to the city of Lakewood. One of his questions was: What is the one thing you do not like about California? and I answered him loudly the San Francisco Giants, as I was and still a Dodger Fan. I also got to attend the Dick Clark show in New York City that same summer, and gave him a 10 foot Beechnut Spearmint Flavor Ific gum rapper chain, which was the thing to do.

Rick was a true friend of mine. We were both ASB advisors and counselors at different work sites inRead More ABC. We often exchanged ideas and shared many laughs. He truly gave his heart and soul at the annual track events for middle school students. I will miss you and send Diane my deepest sympathy.

I am so sad to hear about this. Mr. Renaker was my advisor for ASB during my senior year at GahrRead More High School. There was a fight between me and the president and he was able to peacefully broker the situation. From him, I learned the art of listening, prioritizing and to take criticism as an opportunity to grow instead of fight.
