Led by Interim City Clerk, Vida P. Barone, MPA, CMC, the City Clerk's Office provides information to keep CerritosMore citizens and public officials informed. The office, which is located at the City of Cerritos City Hall posts the City Council's agendas and prepares minutes of previous meetings; distributes the City Council meeting packets; maintains public records; conducts the Cerritos municipal election; presides over the city's records management program and accepts passport applications. All City Council meeting agendas, "meeting in a minute," and live webcasts can be found on the city's website.

The City Hall for Cerritos is located at the Cerritos Civic Center and serves as the center of municipalMore administration and many of the city's services. The offices and departments here include: the city attorney, city clerk/treasurer, city manager, code enforcement, communications, administrative services, community safety and services, public works, community development, water and power and the sheriff's department. The City Hall grounds, which are shared by the Cerritos Library, also feature a sculpture garden, fountains and the Cerritos Veterans Memorial. City of Cerritos: City Manager's Office

The city manager's post is currently filled by Art Gallucci, who began his tenure as the city manager in 1991.More Gullucci had been hired as a Recreation Superintendent in 1971, and headed the Human Affairs Department from 1973 to 1981, when he was named Assistant City Manager. 

The city manager advises the City Council on matters of concern to the City and directs the day-to-day operations of the City's main departments: Administrative Services, Community and Safety Services, Community Development, Public Works, and the Theater Department. The City Manager is also responsible for preparing Cerritos' operating and capital-improvements budgets, grants administration, personnel matters and council agenda preparation. The city manager also works with the City Council in identifying policy and program issues and addressing community concerns and provides support in managing Cerritos' human, financial and material resources, implementing annual goals and objectives as established by the city council.
